Best cashew chicken in town! Meals under $5. Not fancy but good tasting food.
If I had to choose something for my last meal it would be the Kung Fu chicken. I love it cold for breakfast too. Owners are very accommodating and nice people. I've eaten here for 15+ years.
Good Springfield style cashew chicken. Clean restaurant and friendly staff.
I use to love this place but the quality of food has downgraded in my opinion which sucks because I truly used to love this place.
I eat here every time I come to springfield to visit my family. The best cashew chicken in the world and the friendliest people. The prices are fantastic. I hope this place never closes!
The food is great one of the people that works there is a real nice guy the female on the other hand not so much let just say we willl not b going back the. Anytime soon
Me and my husband enjoy the service and the friendly workers thank you very much for the great food
I first ate here in 1986, nothing has changed. It's the best in Springfield. Chicken is always cooked perfectly. The general sauce is to die for and best crab ragoon I've ever ate. Very friendly and always consistent. I simply can't recommend enough.
Great food. Great Prices. Even better people. It's a staple for me. Bring cash.
Been going there for over 20 years, love their cashew chicken, and think they have the best crab rangoons. Owners are super nice and prices are very fair.
Amazing food, amazing prices, amazingly authentic. The Riksha is really low cost and provides you with enough to fill you up. It is my absolute favorite place to eat in Springfield. Doesn’t take cards but there is an ATM nearby.
The beef fried rice is the best I've ever had .very favorful
Ate at Rikshaw today and I was AMAZED at how good this little restaurant is! It’s now my favorite place to eat. The whole Meal of the Springfield Cashew chicken was on point! If your looking for good Asian food, this is the place!
So many meals since the donation days..plasma then eat a great plate fast & like the small intimate setting..
Great general chicken extra spicy is preferred
Great small place owners are very nice! Awesome food. Don't get anything extra hot unless you love super hot things! Cash only, they don't accept cards
The best food
Bad customer service. Was told to never come back my first time in because I had a problem with being served very little chicken in my kung pao. I'm talking 1 part chicken to 6 parts veggies. not even exaggerating. She said all the customers like it like that for 26 years. Ok but I'm not satisfied. She almost refused the refund but only allowed it because she wanted us to never return. Didnt get to eat my dinner at all. Not to mention, my husband's dish was cheaper and he paid extra for white meat and got an entire plate pile of chicken . Nonsense. I just wanted a good chinese place to eat at that's next to my house. So embarrassing being kicked out with 2 babies in front of 4 other customers.
Great food...nice people...
Friendly and courteous service. Great rice. Large shrimp. Just be aware... its CASH ONLY.
A Springfield Cashew Chicken classic. Now that Anton's passed, probably the last Cash Only place in town.
Their cashew chicken is delicious, and they're always very friendly!
My absolute favorite! The cashew sauce is way better and doesn't turn gelatinous like those other places. If you get at open, the chicken and sauce is fire!
We love this place! The owners are very nice and the food is wonderful. Just make sure you bring cash.
When I first worked downtown, eating general chicken from the Riksha was a rite of passage. All new employees were initiated with general chicken as hot as the owners could possibly make it.I don't live here anymore but every time I visit family in Springfield, I always go to the Riksha for general chicken. I can't get it like this anywhere else -- in fact, if the Riksha management reads this, I would actually pay (totally serious) to learn how to make this for myself so I can eat it any of the other 360 days of the year I'm not in Springfield :DIf you've visiting family here and it comes down to visiting Aunt Mae or visiting the staff at the Riksha, plan to see Aunt Mae on your next trip!
Best General Chicken in Springfield
It was great for the price. Not really any crab in the crab ragoons tho
Love this place been going here since I was 7 years old.
Great flavor! Combo fried rice can easily feed 2 to 3, but I ate it all myself!
Best Springfield cashew and sweet & sour. Bring cash!!!!!!! Don't accept cards
Go all the time not the best food but great prices. Their spicy foods are the best
Great food. My favorite dish is their general chicken. Very good. Decent prices. Super friendly owners that staff it. Cash only.
Food is always phenomenal. Everytime we go back we're reminded why we continue to go back!
Food was just ok. Service was slow. Don't bother if you're in a hurry.
Excellent place to eat. Expecially love the specials.
Some might think I'm crazy for giving this place 4 stars but if you are eating here you know what youre in for when you walk through the door. Not a fancy place to eat, and doesn't always appear that clean but if you get it to take home its actually pretty tasty. It's the kind of hole in the wall restaurant that is perfect when you want something that isn't pretentious but still has good flavor. Their general chicken is my favorite here. Make sure to bring cash they only accept cash.
Visited this place while in town for a visit, the fried wontons and homemade sweet and sour sauce were amazing. The combo fried rice was also very delicious. The sesame chicken and cashew chicken were both good. Nice little local non-chain restaurant.
The best general chicken in town!
Inexpensive, good American Chinese food, friendly staff
Great food and customer service.
Amazing food! Amazing customer service!
The food is consistent and the people who own the restaurant are exceptional. It is one of the most affordable places to eat in Springfield and everyone I have taken there has made it part of their regular routine places to eat. My son and his girlfriend make a point of going to the Riksha whenever they come to town. It is a cash only establishment so be sure to have cash.
My favorite Chinese place for over 20 years.
The Kung Pao chicken was light on chicken and flavor. I also felt like I was nicked and dimmed. The fortune cookies cost extra. The chop sticks cost extra. Even a glass of water costs extra. My son had the Lo Mein and it was really good. He had more chicken than I did.
Awesome place!!!!! and has been a part of springfield for over 30 years.
Always a treat to come here. Food is always perfect and delicious.
Oh WOW! I had the cashew chicken. AwEsOmE 👍. The staff was really good to us. I really enjoyed the dinner here with my friend.
Dam good food ,cheap
Every time I visit town, I need to get my cashew chicken fix. And Riksha is still one of my favorite spots - even with their weird hours.
Great family restaurant, I have always had a great experience and fond memories..
